This is the initial stage of my scene modelling. I have began to construct a path for the camera to follow.

Texturing

I've started working on assigning some textures I made to simple objects in 3DS Max. Im wanting my box monitors to have an old wooden feel to them, hence the textures I have chosen.

Rough Concepts...

Some still imagery I made that could fit the monitors on the 3D plane. I could use images of celebrities, aswell as people I know. Aslong as the colour is vibrant and interesting!

Different view of the 3D plane and monitors. I want the monitors to be textured, to look wooden perhaps and the plane to be quite simple looking too. The backround will be colourful as will the images on the monitors...

Simple video into cat rigging in 3Ds max, this video shows the build up of the different elements of a cat rig. I will begin some tests using this tool so that I can eventually get my own character to move in a realistic  way.

Playing around with some rough concepts...

The first image is sourced from the internet, i liked the idea of the walking path being a music score. I just added a few colours onto the original image.

The second image is a very basic example of how I would start to construct the 3D section of the path. The boxes represent the monitors in my initial sketch. Once textured properly, Images would be composited onto each box...



Looking into the motion capture suite...

Initial Ideas...

I want to incorporate motion graphics as some sort of backround plate. I was thinking of using the motion capture suite to get some basic movements. I will then rotoscope the renderd alpha channels of the model. This character would then be the main focus in the sequence as the scene around him changes...

Initial Ideas

Initially, my interest was in rotoscoping. I really liked the sequence of the Lady GaGa video 'Bad romance'. The movements were perfect to how she looks in the real video. I also came across the rotoscopia of an unscripted walk, the video was made into a rotoscoped sequence. I really like the authenticity of the whole thing.
